Happening of Child Trafficking in India

As we all know, the adage "child is the father of man" was said by William Wordsworth. But if a child isn't safe, how can the nation make progress in the present, once and unborn? These are the essential means by which the nation and the child have a responsibility to mould a better future for the forthcoming generation, but if their present isn't safe, how can their history be safe?Due to this World Day against Trafficking being observed on the 30th of July by the United Nations, the essential assets of the nation and the child have a liability to present it's nation, and this time the theme was "Reach every victim of trafficking, leave no one behind" .According to the survey conducted annually, eight children were trafficked daily, and these are the reports of the anti-human trafficking unit. Many traffickings go unreported, so it can be said that this was done enormously.Large-scale child trafficking is caused by orthodoxy, the caste system, political unrest, corruption in India, a lack of education, a dysfunctional family and social structure, child slavery, and bonded labour, among other factors. And if we want to get into more detail, we might say that because industries need cheap work, children are being trafficked for a variety of reasons, including the need for cheap labour. And we can also consider that, due to a lack of awareness among the people, in the consequences of this, the proper channel for the hold of these kinds of traffickers cannot take place. Child trafficking is an actus reus (wrongful act). These acts are done in invitum (against a person's will). If child trafficking is to be defined, then we can say this is to take the child from the custody of their parents without their permission, or, in other words, we can say to take the child from the protected environment. And if we look at the survey in India, we can mainly find that 60% of the girls and women are the victims. Section 370 talks about this, so it says In this case, we consider the victim's consent to be negligible as it can be taken forcefully, by threat, abduction, abuse of power, inducement, or in any other way. So, in India, the punishment is like this: rigorous imprisonment for a term that shall not be less than 7 years but may extend to 10 years or can be fine, and sometimes it can be both. These types of punishments are decided by the level of crime they committed. At last, I want to conclude with these lines that to stop this child trafficking, the government of India and the courts, by collaboration, need to take the steps towards implementing the policy where guilty or accused aequitas ( equally) punished without doing any negligence.Because as rigorous punishment is set, more fear will come into the minds of victims, and less child trafficking will take place in India.
